MANTECA — The Dismal Freedom Press has formally notified legal counsel for the Manteca Unified School District that the district has failed to meet statutory deadlines under the California Public Records Act in connection with a request for records surrounding a resignation and release agreement. The records request, submitted January 26, 2026, seeks board approval documents related to a resignation and release agreement identified in district records as Bates 000056–000060.
