Why This Hub Exists
When SNAP (CalFresh) funds stall, it hits hardest at the kitchen table.More than 5 million Californians depend on these benefits—many in the Central Valley and East Bay. With November benefits frozen, families are facing tough choices: groceries or rent, gas or utilities.
Dismal Freedom Press launched this Assistance Hub so no one falls through the cracks. We’re updating it daily with verified food, meal, and resource programs to help our neighbors bridge the gap.
